Is it only me or any one of you is also feeling lethargic, out of sync with you energies. As I write today our new government is in place and we are all waiting for that 100 days action that everyone seems to be promoting these days. 100 days was actually an Indian movie in which the heroine used to get premonitions. Well there is absolutely no connection of the movie with this new government but I just thought I should enlighten you with my esteemed general knowledge. For almost a month I have been experiencing pangs of lethargy for reasons both known and unknown, and I thought I am losing my blog writing ability or every other creative ability that I have. It was a frightening thought, because after years of laborious self work I have learned few things to move on with some purpose in my life. I so much wanted to write about the sad incident which took place in Karachi yesterday where another beautiful life was taken away; however, no words could express the true feelings so I better not touch on the subject and move on to something else, something peaceful. But then I ask myself where would I go to find peace. The clue is that it cannot be found anywhere because it lies within us, beyond the mental chaos and the rushing of life. Just as you start to believe that life has settled down, new things come up and you have no other option but to face and give your best shot. Since my last post on 1 st May so much has changed not to mention the government. A sore point! My semesters at the University are almost ending with finals just around the corner; nevertheless, we have quite a few extra classes to finish. Thankfully, I am successful in completing the entire course for both of my classes and now its all about revision, debates & projects. Teaching at any level is such an immense responsibility, not only you have a job to complete the requisite course outline but you also need to make absolutely sure that your students are equipped with the right tools and information to cope in the highly competitive world. May is a very special month for me for I have been blessed with many beautiful gifts in this month. Some of the wonderful people I know are born in this month, especially 1 st of May which is the birth date of my late father.  Gosh it’s been almost four years since he left us, although life happens to move on and time is a wonderful healer yet somewhere within there is a void, a blank space which shall never be filled. And that space is beautiful because we get to fill it with love and gratitude for the great times we have spent together.
