23rd March 2012- Pakistan Day



So Much Gratitude to God for blessing us with our own beautiful country Pakistan, a land rich with culture & resources and a place we all call home. A place which gave us our identity, education, our livelihood… 

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU GOD FOR BLESSING US WITH PAKISTAN…

Many congratulations to all the citizens of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day.

For all my foreigner friends who are unfamiliar with the Pakistan Day, it is the day celebrated to honor three significant events; first the passing of the Lahore Resolution on 23rd March 1940 by The Muslim League at the annual conference held from 22–24 March in 1940. During this three days session Muslim League passed a resolution for having independent states for Muslims under British Raj in India, however, subsequently it became a symbol for the demand of separate Muslim state.

The second reason is the adoption of the First Constitution of Pakistan and the third is the change of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 23rd March 1956.  Pakistan is the very first Islamic Republic country of the world.

The reason to change to Islamic Republic was mainly to make Pakistan a part of the Islamic world, to give cultural identity and to bring the state laws in adherence with the Sharia laws.

Whatsoever might be the physical realities of Pakistan today, we have to keep ourselves optimistic and optimism would only come if we become absolutely grateful for what we have today and we had through out our lives in this beautiful and rich country of ours….

After fighting with an alien cat in my dream, I am awake at 1.30 am. It all is followed by a futile effort of building a sleep pattern of 9.30 pm to 6 am. Alas, not all wishes come true at once. No problem I will keep on working.
