A Very Happy & Blessed New Year with New Resolutions

With all my heartiest prayers and best wishes to all of you and your loved ones.... May this year all your wishes be granted, may this year all your dreams come true,  may you all live health & prosperity this year and all the years to come. It has now become a ritual for me to set for myself some new resolutions, some new commitments, and above all, take some new measures in order to free myself of the old baggage and behavioral patterns that are not doing me any good.  Therefore, I Sonya Syed, hereby resolve to: Give more love to my family and my friends. Find a wonderful gentleman and get married.  Appreciate everyone and everything in my life. Respect the gift of my life. Keep my ego in its place, if possible (cage it). You versus Me

These days whether it is a family function or a get together of friends and family, a wedding, a party or even shopping at the mall; every woman seems to be effected by the Brand Syndrome.   There is a war amongst the victims of brand syndrome, every girl every lady wants to exceed other by acquiring the most expensive handbag, shoes and makeup. Unfortunately, science has failed to discover any cure for this syndrome so it is spreading like an epidemic. And the interesting part is that, even after emptying their pockets nobody either gets acknowledged or appreciated. In fact, if one has more expensive bag or shoes then the other will have the most despising sentiments to share about them. This brand epidemic is not limited to women but men are also affected by this syndrome, their personality enhancing products are different though. Once upon a time long-long ago in the kingdom of Faithland there lived great Kings and Queens by the names of ‘Peace, Justice, Honesty & Sincerity’. Under their rule the citizens of Faithland lived a life full of happiness and joy. They had plenty of food to feed every single person of their country; everyone had enough money to live their best life; and they all lived in the most protective environment.
