Simple facts

“An infinite array of joyful possibilities are programmed into the biocomputer that is universal Mind, waiting for your readiness to receive them.To prepare:

1) Do not think yesterday has anything to do with what could happen today; release yourself and others from anything said or done in the past.

2) Withhold all blame or judgment from anyone for any reason.

3) Proactively acknowledge that the miracle of a joyful day is possible for you, regardless of circumstances. Claim that miracle, praise it and give thanks for it in advance. Voila.”   by Marianne Williamson..

As soon as I read this I knew that is what I shall be beginning my post today. These are the words of my spiritual teacher and guide Marianne Williamson. She along with Eckhart Tolle, Oprah Winfrey are the people who have changed my life. I have never met any of them personally but we have developed a relationship due to their work, teachings and amazing books.

Although I don’t feel comfortable to mention the word “spiritual” because everyone has different meaning ascribed to this word. Some people believe that if someone is spiritual then he/she lives on their own island or that person has acquired some mystical/ magical powers. These are just few to mention.

However, as far as I have understood practicing spirituality is really a day-to-day, most basic principle of living and there are no magical powers involved. It is easy to be near God by boycotting your life and family and living on a deserted island to gain peace. Nevertheless incorporating spirituality in your life with children crying in the background or getting stuck in the traffic jam and getting late to reach office to make that presentation is the true concept.

Being spiritually enlightened and conscious is basically:
  • Loosing your compulsion to believe your thoughts and emotion, pain of past (i.e. your Ego)
  • Staying in the present moment—this moment, in which we are here, in the now, and not getting stuck up in your past or worrying about the future
  • Forgiving yourself and others
  • Last but not least, to be deeply GRATEFUL for every little thing you have in life. And if you don’t have what you wish then be grateful for the person who has what you desire.
Very simple to follow and could be life changing. When you have a grip on your mind away from the constant mind chatter the quietness/peace arises; then you want to heal in others what you have healed in you and finally your intuition or sixth sense sprouts.

Most of the people get obsessed with the intuition part and over mystifies it and some even try to achieve this last step without going through those vital initial steps.

There is also a segment of people who says that the religious scriptures like Quran and Sunnah are the most authentic source of guidance. Nobody can deny or argue with the significance of the Holy Book, however, since the arrival of Quran fourteen hundreds years ago several people have written books to help us understand the real meaning of this Prestigious Scripture.

Any literature which points us to our inner peace is automatically a blessing coming from God which would ultimately lead us to the universal truth and our divine connection with the Almighty.

So if anyone of you relates or would like to know more about the above I have placed links to Eckhart Tolle and Marianne Williamson’s websites, these are the highly recommended writers. It is better to first read and fully absorb “A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle” and then moving to Marianne.

I have tried them and rest assured they have made my life simple and easy; moreover I am better able to understand my own religion.

So good night dear ones.
