For some strange reason I have a sudden desire to visit Bhurban, Muree, Nathia Gali or even living there permanently; huh! strange wishes I have these days. I also have few other crazy ideas which I would be working on in the coming days. I somehow want to challenge myself, my comfort zones. I am re-organizing my law practice and to begin with I am re-doing my website. Yes surprisingly I have an official website dedicated to my legal work. In 2008 when I first started my work I made my website, at that time it looked perfect because I did everything which every other law firm in the world has done. I bombarded it with lots of unnecessary information about my work as if I was giving a short course on my practice areas. Every where I turned I kept on hearing about new year resolutions, some focused on loosing weight some were dedicated to leave unhealthy habits and so on. Last year I also made some resolutions which I don’t remember anymore, but I know that I did have something like resolutions. So this year I made a resolution of not making any resolution, all I intend to do in 2012 is to stay intensely present in the Now, the present moment. I decided that this year I will not carry the baggage of any painful thought or emotion from my past, nor I will drive my self crazy by worrying unnecessarily about the future. I will stay in the present moment because past has no power over me anymore and our future is merely an extension of our present moment. And I have to say, that this idea of staying in the Now is also appreciated by God because on the first day of 2012 I was blessed with an anointed opportunity to make peace and reconcile with someone with whom I have been estranged...

Its freezing especially in my room, I think the temperature of my room is -10 degrees. I wanted to buy a room heater but I found a short cut. I simply saw the electricity bill of last month and a wave of heat and extreme sweat went through me. I have no idea of what is really happening to this country, when I was little everybody used to tell us that natural gas is one of the resources which we shall never see a shortage of and now this gas load shedding. You can live without electricity but how can you survive without cooked food, if there is no gas how is it possible to live a life. What we need is a positive breakthrough or best a magic wand and all the chaos would turn into peace ….     Many Best Wishes to the entire Nation on the Birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. On his 136 th birthday the best gift which we could give him is our determination that in this New Year we will all strive to fulfill our true ideology as a peaceful and prosperous Nation. It’s been quite a while since my last post but honesty speaking I wasn’t in a mind frame to do anything. I was busy doing some hard core internal work but before going into detailed discussion on that subject I think its better to share lighter moments, I attended a very first baby shower of my life. It was a close gathering at my best friend’s house of her younger sister’s surprise baby shower. Although we don’t usually have this sort of ritual in our families but a little get together and delicious food is always welcome.  Besides the food, the decorations and arrangements were simply splendid, every detail was meticulously taken care of.
